Focus: Help David Douglas High School students participate in school activities and athletics.
The “No Scot Left Behind” program will assist students who might not be able to enroll in school activities and athletics when financial barriers prevent them from doing so. During 2026-2027, sports team participation will be $150 per sport per student with a maximum of $300 for the school year. A Student Activity fee of $85 (i.e. band, drama, orchestra, choir, speech, dance team, etc.) must be paid for each activity. Funds raised will help ensure those students who need assistance in participating in sports and other school activities to do so.
Goal: Help us raise $70,000 which will provide funds to jumpstart this program for two years. With funds spread over two years, this could allow:
233 students to participate in one sport each of two years, or
116 students to participate in two sports each of two years, or
411 students to participate in one activity each of two years, etc.
Remember, this fundraiser not only enables students to participate in sports and/or activities (such as band, drama, choir, etc) that they might otherwise be unable to afford but also enhances academic performance, self-confidence, and leadership skills, and helps students stay in school and graduate.
How are David Douglas High School Students Doing? In the 2024/2025 school year, 100% of David Douglas student athletes who completed a sport during their senior year graduated on time!
